With over 25 years in the fitness industry, Tonya’s approach to fitness is focused on building strength from the inside out. She instills a mindset of inner connectedness in all her clients and brings forth the understanding that you cannot build a strong body on a weak foundation.

Developing a strong core to support your joint structure is paramount to how your body will be able to withstand the impacts of daily living. Tonya believes that establishing a solid base of support and maintaining an erect and sturdy spine are your weapons in combating incoming joint issues, inconvenient muscle dysfunctions, and age-related postural distortions.

She loves leading her clients to loving their bodies, understanding what exercises they should or shouldn’t do (and why) and most of all, helping them become pain free.

Tonya applies her knowledge as a Pilates Private Instructor and Personal Trainer to each client, based on their varying body structures and needs. It is her belief that everybody has a different body, so there is never a one exercise fits all approach.

Tonya looks at her relationship with her clients and their goals, as a team approach, because they are with their bodies 24/7, she educates them to know when their movement is having a negative impact on their joints. It is through this teamwork and knowledge that her clients become more connected with the inner workings of their body.
